For security reasons, PostBeyond has strict requirements for passwords related to your account. This is meant to better protect your privacy, and that of everyone in your organization.

Password Requirements

Your PostBeyond password has minimum requirements. The password needs to be at least 8 characters long and include at least one character from each of the following four character types:

  • Upper-Case Letters

  • Lower-Case Letters

  • Numbers

  • Special Characters, for example $ or %

Some organizations may have additional password requirements. Please contact your program manager if you have any questions or concerns about this.

Please note: Any passwords created before May 8th, 2017 will be allowed to remain, however if you change your password, it will have to comply with the new policy.

Logging in

In order to prevent people from hacking accounts with unlimited attempts at guessing passwords, PostBeyond limits the number of failed attempts in a row that users can enter a wrong password. Each customer has a different number of attempts, however the default settings is 5. If you enter the password unsuccessfully that many times in a row, your account will be locked out of the platform for a pre-determined amount of time.
